WILDLIFE ART INTO SCULPTURE

Recently my wildlife paintings and drawings have evolved into stand alone 3D constructions using treated and primed plywood panels.  These tough constructional grade plywood panels can be worked into with fine fretwork.  I cut out the designs using an electric scroll saw, removing areas to emphasise shape and form.  Spaces created become windows to corresponding panels.  Coloured reverse sides reflect light back onto the design giving an ambient glow, highlighting areas of depth and detail.
